Soetsu Yanagi, a Japanese writer from the Mingei movement wrote: “Handwork because it has nature behind it has a way of fostering good life”.

I am a craftswoman. I love nature. I live in a city. Behind me, there is no nature. Behind me, there are walls, and behind the walls, there are other apartments. Through the windows, I see an industrial area, and the forest. I went into this forest. And I found nature, but I also found cables that lead to the telephone antenna that I see from my house. The postcards carry the questions that I send you: today, this is how I live, and how nature is. Therefore: « What is nature behind? »
